Appearance: Light Blue coat, Short mane and tail (both brown
with dark blue streaks), slightly taller than average, slim and
fit, music notes cutie mark.
Magic Color: Light Blue
Hometown: Vanhoover
Current Residence: Ponyville (Shares a home with Moonlight Mist)
Occupation: Voice Teacher/Music Teacher
Personality: Asher is very charismatic, outgoing and friendly.
He can be very witty and charming most of the time. He spends
most of his time teaching others the art of singing and music.
Asher has good intentions and loves to help out others. Despite
his goofy and laid back persona he can be very thoughtful and
wise. Asher is very caring for his friends and his twin
Moonlight. In almost every circumstance Asher remains level
headed and optimistic, and can think quick on his hooves.
Although he can be faulted at times for underestimating things
and being full of himself.
Likes: Singing/Music. Witty one liners. The outdoors. Reading.
Socializing.
Dislikes: Large bodies of water. Liars. Winter. Celery (Don’t
ask). Jiji (Moonlight's cat)
Gear: Literally nothing.
Special Power: Twin-sense. Activates when Moonlight Mist is in
trouble or danger, has the magical ability to see through
Moonlight’s eyes and hear her surroundings. While in this stage
he can communicate with Moonlight via inner thoughts. Asher has
the ability to teleport to her location if needed in this stage.
(Moonlight does not share this power, only Asher possesses it.)
This power could be stemmed not only from Asher's ability for
advanced magic, but from his protective nature for his sister.
Strengths: Singing and Charisma. Wit. Advanced Magic. Climbing.
Healing Magic.
Weaknesses: Unlike his twin, Asher isn’t skilled in any sort of
weaponry. But he knows how to use his magic to defend himself
and others.
Fears: Losing his sister.
Magic: Asher is more adept than Moonlight regarding magic. He
knows many uses ranging from the basic levitation to advanced
elemental magic and teleportation. His specialty is healing
magic and barriers. Studied at Princess Celestia’s School for
Gifted Unicorns. If he wasn't into singing and music as much as
he is, Asher would probably have ended up a Wizard.
Family: Parents (Deceased) Identical Twin Sister: Moonlight Mist
Bio: Asher Strings was born in Vanhoover. He is a twin, older by
two minutes. He spent most of his time as a young colt with his
mother in the studio singing and learning music. There he
learned his skills and love for the arts. It is also how he
earned his cutie mark.
Asher was a very outgoing and friendly colt, he brought joy to
every pony around him. He had no problems making friends, and
made them wherever he went.
He noticed his twin sisters struggle with making friends, she
didn’t have any. Despite his best efforts to help Moonlight, she
intended to be alone most of the time.
Asher was and still is protective of his twin, letting her know
that he’d always be by her side no matter what.
During the years Moonlight worked on her Archery, Asher attended
Princess Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns. He was a very
talented student, staying at the top of his classes. Here is
where he learned most of the magic he knows today, even though
Asher’s main talent is singing, he is very adept at magic.
In Vanhoover, when he had one of his school breaks he
encountered his first use of the twin-sense.
Asher was in his mother’s music studio practicing, the next
moment a weird unknown sensation came over him, unable to move.
His sights were not his own, he saw a dark narrow tunnel and
heard a familiar voice…
“How do I get out of here?” He knew that voice….it was
Moonlight.
“Moonlight...where are you?!” Asher thought to himself, unable
to physically speak.
“Asher?!” Moonlights frantic voice echoed about the narrow
corridor. “Asher, I don’t know what is happening right now...or
if your voice is even real. But if it is...I need help!”
Asher wasn’t sure what was happening, all he knew was that
Moonlight is in trouble. All of a sudden in what felt like a
quick wind around him, he stood next to his sister. He had never
teleported before...but it happened without him trying.
He helped Moonlight out of what was the sewer, still baffled
over the event of the last few minutes.
That was the first time Asher had the twin-sense and it wasn’t
the last. Back then, his magic wasn’t powerful enough to do as
much as it can now. But now Asher can teleport (if not too far
away) to her location or use magic to pinpoint her location and
travel by hoof to it. (Moonlight however, does not possess
twin-sense and has come to the conclusion only Asher can do it
considering his background in advanced magic.)
After their parents passed, Asher and Moonlight agreed to move
to Ponyville for a fresh start. There Asher teaches young fillys
and colts the art of singing.
