- The Old Testament shows how God deals
with Nations, the New Testament shows
how God deals with individuals.
- When any man in the Bible meets with
God (Adam, Isiah, etc..) they always
get a guilt complex.
- The reason Jesus was born in a
manger, is he is the lamb.
- The reason the unsaved go to hell,
is they are saying in their heart that
they are more righteous then God. Of
all the sins you commit, thinking that
works will get you to heaven after He
sent His son to die for you is what
condemns you.
- I am not responsible for God's
attitude toward me, I am responsible
for my attitude toward Him.
- Pray for others more then yourself.
- Lost people are positive and try
to make world a better place, because
this is as good as it is going to get;
saved people are negative because they
see this world for what it is. Their
hope is in the next life.
- Until Christ returns: wait, watch,
and work.
- Types: "The New is in the Old
contained; The Old is by the New
explained."

- Ask, in order to exercise the mind
of Christ, “What do the Scriptures
say?”
- Who is it being said to?
- Who is saying it?
- Does it apply to Christians in this
dispensation?

## A living sacrifice

So you are to give your body to God
as “a living sacrifice” for three
reasons:

1) Because everything you have is of
God (Rom 11:36).
2) Because God has been merciful to you
(Rom 12:1).
3) So you can know the will of God
(Rom 12:3).
