Yeah, they only made it for six years, checking... 1983 to 1989, so I guess I first saw it in '83. I know it was before I was transferred to Alaska, so it had to have been 83-84. Regardless, 40 years ago. Haven't been able to track down the actual number manufactured, but since it was essentially a one-product company (they also made one in .22 WMR I guess), I doubt there were very many produced. As I said, I've only seen the beast three times in 40 years, and I have done a LOT of looking! Going to have to make a Derringer Day at the range. .38 sp/.357, 10 mm and .22 WMR all just begging to be taken out for some fun in the sun...
