October 1, 2013.
What a monumental day.
Do you know why?
Whether you do or not,
I'll tell you, anyway.

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY, REPUBLICANS SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT IN AN
EFFORT TO STOP EVERY AMERICAN FROM HAVING ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE.

Of course, it didn't work.  But it sure didn't stop Republicans
from using the hand, with each and every one of them jerking off
and self-congratulating themselves as if doing so was the best
thing they had ever done since coming out of their mother's womb.
