The problem is that Telnet scripting works on the basis of Read Data Write Data Read Data Write Data ... So if a Wildcat host has modified their screens/prompts you need to match your script to work with the site specific customization. In the real world the Read Write Data equates to scripting in the form of: expect [wait x] output Within established private Wildcat! QWK Networks FTP is used to overcome the Telnet scripting limitations. You can use any Telnet scripting language you want.
