I used to use it with Bluewave. Was a nice system, about as seamless as you could get for the tech of the day, and I used it a fair bit. It might still exist on my old backups. Given that it simply called PGP with the right parameters, I suspect that it could be used with a DOS version of GPG as well. From memory, the PGP command lines for the various functions (encryption, decryption, signing, key management, etc) were configurable. ....
