Ah yes ok, that sounds easy enough, I'll try that out this winter.  We only switched to crumbles when we picked up a few baby chicks.  The two older ones were eating pellets however half the time the bottom of the bags were moldy last year.  We haven't had that problem with the crumbles.  Granted, the chickens would probably eat the mold considering they eat just about anything.
