Subj : Hola To : The Godfather From : Ogg Date : Thu Apr 27 2023 09:09 pm Hello The Godfather! TG> Ah yes ok, that sounds easy enough, I'll try that out this TG> winter. We only switched to crumbles when we picked up a TG> few baby chicks. The two older ones were eating pellets TG> however half the time the bottom of the bags were moldy TG> last year. We haven't had that problem with the crumbles. TG> Granted, the chickens would probably eat the mold TG> considering they eat just about anything. My family raised chickens for eggs and then ofcourse the old hens would end up as food. But even if it was just for the eggs, I could not justify keeping chickens. The cost of raising them, feeding them, providing necessary health care, etc.. simply cost more than the few eggs that I would need just for myself and another family member. That was back when a dozen of the cheapest eggs were roughly $2CDN per dozen. My dad sold our fresh eggs at $3/dozen. We had way more than we needed for a family of 4. --- OpenXP 5.0.57 * Origin: (} Pointy McPointFace (21:4/106.21) .
