So I'm assuming these smart cards would not be able to be cracked and written to or copied? That would have been more affordable then stamping DVD's, less physical space consumed witin a retail store. The only fail (something Sony would have up with, thinking Beta, Super Disc, and so much more ..) was requiring their hardware. That would have been a very cool way to keep us "must have the shiny hard copy" guys happy :) Heck, I miss Software Etc.
