That depends on what type of "graphics" you are shooting for. If you are simply looking to create title screens or text that show on a video (like a watermark, for example), you can create the screens using a tool like The GIMP and then place them into your video. There are plenty of how-to videos and sites out there that helped me figure it out. For creating the actual videos, I use Shotcut or Openshot. Both have effects you can use, although I only usually use the video fade in/out, audio fade in/out, and volume gain. Shotcut seems to be more forgiving of slighly older hardware. If I want to save the video in 1080p, I use Shotcut as on my hardware Openshot only allows a max of 720p. Any higher and the saved video comes out jumpy and garbled. I am running these utilities on a linux box, so you mileage may vary on other oses. There are a lot of videos out there that helped me with these two utilities also. ....
