Yeah.. this is what I miss the most when I came from West Coast  back to Europe. I was closer to North West than Cali with all time summer + Tahoe, but still having Ocean view and then 3-4h driving disticance to high mountains and glaciers is what I don't have where I live now.. 

But luckily I also don't have volcanoes with a high conduct safety plan in case of eruption and risk of earth quakes that can suck my home in.. so something for something...
