Preparing for a short week, instead of dealing with family schedules and
drama, am going with the family up to wine country in California for a 3
day Christmas holiday with my immediate family and leaving the dogs with
a sitter.

Unfortunately, my son (from my previous marriage) has a house-sitting gig
and won't be able to join us. His mom has been a big contributor to
family drama around christmas time for the past 18 years.

Have a Christmas dinner planned at a five-star restaurant, wine tasting,
bocce and a hot tub at the house.

I'm ready for a break. I'm starting to get phantom phone vibrations,
when you think your phone is vibrating in your pocket but it's on the
table.   :(
