 Turns out I picked up a case of covid, which has totally messed with
 our plans. My birthday present was a surprise event on the 22nd, and
 we're not going to travel with my 84 year-old mom and possibly expose
 her.

 I blame the Christmas Charles Dickens fair I went to last weekend -
 lots of people in an exhibition space.
