Subj : Proxmox, LXC and Docker To : All From : poindexter FORTRAN Date : Mon Feb 05 2024 08:26 am I poked around yesterday and was able to create a Turnkey Core container under Proxmox, then install Docker and portainer inside of it. This makes for a nice lightweight platform for docker, moreso than running a full linux VM and installing docker in it. From a purely aesthetic standpoint, Proxmox sorts containers first, then VMs, then storage devices, so it puts all of my app services/containers in one place. My next project? I bought a "smart" gig desktop switch for my homelab and am going to try teaming NICs on my Proxmox server. Realistically, I don't need it, but it'll be a nice exercise. ....
