Things are not great here over in New Zealand. The current coalition government has cut funding to the health an social services that all but the rich need while give landlords a nice tax break.... looks like next they'll be giving concessions to their friend and political donors in the form of mining and resource exploitation concessions.

And its all in the name or "progress" & "increasing social mobility".... what they fail to mention is that "progress" only benefits the rich & the "social mobility" is a downwards spiral into fewer opportunities and more difficult living circumstance for those who live in poorer areas or whose family is not well off...
