I don't doubt that one bit. Yet even here a numbered meal that comes with a soda and fries at McDonalds or Burger King is up around (or more) $10 now.

I lost all respect for McDonalds when their "dollar menu" turned into a "value" menu, and all the prices went up. Probably a good thing I can't stomach that crap any more anyway. :)
