Granted, the speeds were supposed to be superior however my take is; if you can get digital radios to talk that fast on NPR why not through regular packet like they do in say Germany? They've been doing far more above 115,200 baud for ions. Our 1200 is child's play to them and not even something they wish to visit via the internet. You know it's bad then!
