Same here, I'm also using Devuan with Synchronet.

For using binkd + hpt + golded, there is an interesting project called  
"Fidian" which wants to make the usage of these tools more easy:

This adds a Debian repository which adds the missing packages and  
configures everything.

But I did not try it for myself :)
