I enjoyed reading this; may I suggest you put this in the TXT files/bulletin
section and if you haven't already, post it to the networked forums.

For me, it definitely is getting back into a hobby I loved immensely in the 80s
and 90s.  It is also about getting back to a community instead of a sea of
nonsense.  On the Internet its all about who can be the flashiest, content be
damned.  On a BBS its all about the content.

I'm glad to see the continued interest and involvement.  Communities tend to
form naturally, and the BBS community is definitely coming back together in
many ways after a long absence.
