This message group is just local to this > BBS The Colour Maximite 2 computer doesn't natively support TCP/IP so it uses an ESP module as a bridge between the TCP/IP world and its serial connection. It supports 3 COM ports, 1&2 that are TTL serial based on an expansion connector, and COM 3 is a console port through its USB connection to a host computer, if available. A contributor created a XMODEM implementation but it's only the original 128 Byte Checksum version, and its not very reliable or robust and seems prone to crashing or general problems, so I consider it incomplete. And the system could use some more advanced protocols like Y-Modem too, but just a reliable 1K XMODEM implementation would be excellent. If you would like to take a look and check out how the system works, I can ship one of the computers to you for evaluation. Would that work? Thanks! .
