Subj : Gateway outbound email... To : Martin Kazmaier From : Martin Kazmaier Date : Mon Nov 06 2023 05:22 pm MK> Ok, I'm sending the netmail to UUCP@ the gateway address with the first MK> line of the messsage including the To: field. What else should I need MK> to do? I've got inbound mail gating from the POP3 server, but the SMTP server is never connected to. I've tried both the hostname and the internal IP address. I'm using a non-standard port, my ISP blocks port 25, so I've got my mx record pointing to another server that is relaying to my SMTP server successfully. I'm connecting to mine on port 940. I can receive messages, but nothing even tries to go out. I'm sure it's a configuration error, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong. --- Shurato, Sysop Shurato's Heavenly Sphere (ssh, telnet, pop3, ftp, nntp) (ports 22, 23, 110, 21, 119) (ssh: login bbs password shsbbs) *** THE READER V4.50 [freeware] --- * Origin: Shurato's Heavenly Sphere telnet://shsbbs.net (1:340/1101) .
