Of all the bands I've seen or heard over the years, Iron Maiden has to be in my top 5 favorites.. Unfortunately I've only seen them live once and by the time they finally came on stage I was pretty toasted (Day on the Green - smuggled in too much Bacardi) but still an awesome show. What I respect the most about the band is that after all these years, they are still going strong and have perhaps the largest fan base in the world. they are always clean and in sync. I suppose it really helps that they have been able to avoid the typical downfalls of most groups - internal fighting, drugs and alcohol etc.. It's also pretty amazing that Bruce Dickinson is a commercial airline pilot. Their standards are set pretty high. Top all that off with some of the best music and lyrics out there and they are simply awesome! If only Pink Floyd could have been able to keep it together. --- WWIVToss v.1.50 * Origin: Inland Utopia BBS (1:218/109.0) .
