The only reason I mention it is because I've already done it. Discogs is somewhat out of date but it takes hours to download and import, it's in xml so I have to use a program to load it into a database, then you have to create indexes and stuff. It's a real pain. It'd be nice if they provided replication like musicbrainz does. > The stickers are on the plastic. Just pop open the back of the > case. The paper inside will be free and clear. Too much effort. I don't have that amount of time. People may think that it doesn't take long, but when you've got hundreds, it all adds up. > NR> A lot are not listed and even then > NR> you may still have to match up the correct release since > NR> one barcode can be used for different catalog numbers. > NR> It's really not just a point and click task. > > Do those last. No, I brought a collection and some were signed. Some were still sealed. A few were empty cases lol. Still, it was a fantastic deal I got. > Many of mine were/are ColumbiaHouse versions (10 CDs for a $1 > type deal) for a few years. Yes, I have a lot of those, and I account for that when searching the catalog numbers. > But all of mine are prestine.
