The SCALA language was developed by Professor Martin Bodersky at EPFL, a university I think in Switzerland, but it wasn't until 2008 that it became really usable. Here's a description of sorts: "The name Scala stands for "scalable language." The language is so named because it was designed to grow with the demands of its users. You can apply Scala to a wide range of programming tasks, from writing small scripts to building large systems. " :) Take care, Janis --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Dada-1 * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38) .
