Hopefully there's not a password in there that you wanted to keep secret. :-)

I installed a fresh v3.20a on a new Linux system and did not encounter this issue:

After creating the first user account by logging in as "new":

$ cat user.tab

There might be something unique to your ctrl/main.ini file that's triggering this issue.

Maybe try deleting your data/user/* files and logging on as new again and immediately save a copy of the created user.tab file (as soon as its created during the new user process) and share that with me.
