IOW, I'd like to make an echo ML> read-only for everyone linked to it, except the feed of course. Easily enough done. My areafix works rather nice for this. Set a unique letter key for the aera group, i.e. P. THen assign downlinks the p flag without the cap. when sqafix writes node addresses to echoarea lines all will have the -x flag before the addresses telling squish not to accept inbound mail in that area. OTher than doing it through your areafix I don't know of a way to do it globally. ML> And, does the -x?:???/??? have to come _before_ or after the feed ML> node number? Iirc the feed doesn't have the -x, but other addresses do. An example: I set a readonly echo, i.e. whitehouse to have the R flag. IN my default node groups everyone has the r flag, but, note the difference. THat's the easiest way to do it, if you have an areafix program that will do that for you. OTherwise whenever you add a downlink to that echo you'll have to manually edit squish.cfg to place the -x before that downlink's entry in the echoarea line.
