On Sunday, I decided to go to Shenendoah. I took the fit to the i66 exit by the CVS. There was a traffic light over the middle of the intersection. It was off. I stopped. BAM! I pulled over. The car behind my Honda Fit (~2014), an old Honda Sedan (around ten years old) pulled over too. I got out and looked at the back bumper. It appeared to be plastic out of place, so I snapped it all back in except for a little circle cover in the back right corner on the back side of the bumper. It was still attached to my car. It still ran. I thought I was ok, so I wanted to leave. The other guy wanted to file an insurance claim, so I prepared to wait. He called the police for an accident report. I told my mom, and she came over, just in case. She got in the passenger's seat of my car, and we started talking. Eventually, she decided now would be a good idea to clean out my car's air filter. I turned the A/C off. She opened and pulled out the glove compartment. She got hot, and asked me to turn the A/C back on. I hesitated, but obliged. She took the air filter out, and whoosh! A whole bunch of acorns fell into the blower motor. The motor made a grinding sound, so I turned it off. She put her palms on her temples and apologized for about 30 minutes. We got in her car, and so we could get air conditioning.
