Subj : Spinach-Rice Casserole To : All From : Ben Collver Date : Wed Sep 13 2023 11:37:38 MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06 Title: Spinach-Rice Casserole Categories: Casseroles Yield: 6 Servings 4 c Cooked brown rice; (scant 2 -c dry, cooked in 3 c water) 2 lb Raw spinach; chopped 1 c Onion; chopped 2 cl Garlic; minced 3 tb Butter 4 Eggs; beaten 1 c Milk 1 1/2 c Cheddar; grated 1/4 c Parsley; chopped 2 tb Tamari 1/2 ts Salt; or more to taste A few dashes nutmeg A few dashes cayenne MMMMM--------------------------TOPPING------------------------------- 1/4 c Sunflower seeds Paprika Preparation time: 1 1/2 hours, including baking Put brown rice up to cook before you begin. Saute onions and garlic with salt in butter. When onions are soft, add spinach. Cook 2 minutes. Combine with all ingredients except topping ingredients.
