Subj : Clover To : All From : Skuz Date : Sat Jan 25 2014 22:42:00 We've all seen clover, the three-leafed green plant that inhabits lawns and pastures. Few of us think of clover as food, but we should. All clovers' flowers, which taste like green beans, can be eaten raw or boiled and are great additions to salads. If dried, the flowers and can be ground with seeds to make flour for nutritious bread. Beyond salads and bread, though, clover is perhaps most widely used to make tea. Make the tea simply by pouring boiling water over dried flowers in a cup, cover, and steep for 20 minutes. The Eastern white clover is often considered the best-tasting of the clovers, but red clover is also a good choice. |15(\__/) |15(+'.'+) S|07kuz |21|15dA |13FlupHy|16|15 S|07quirrel ate my nuts |15(")_(") @|07http://bbs.|19|10wtf|16|07.im/fluph --- Mystic BBS v1.10 A38 (Windows) * Origin: flupH * fluph.darktech.org (9:91/1) .
