En> Is there a cure ? Sure, script it and throw it in a cron. You only really need to reboot if the kernel is updated, or glibc. (and there are ways around having to reboot if you update glibc). I do a yum update to most of my clients machines every night via cron (as almost all are on CentOS). Any errors in the update are e-mailed to me. DaiTengu ....
