I find myself using Optical drives less and less however anything important
to me I still back up on CDR or DVDR. Flash (Thumb) drives are very handy but
I've had 2 of them fail over the years and a hard drive can crash and lose
data as well so the only 'permanent' solution I like are optical disks.
