The i3-4000M is a Haswell architecture, the iGPU doesn't support QuickSync decoding for h.265 in that generation, so it's doing CPU decoding, which your system *should* be able to handle, but it's pretty high overhead, which would account for stuttering, and will vary based on memory and hdd performance as well. -- Michael J.
