Subj : Relationship With God To : ALL From : Lee Lofaso Date : Tue Jun 04 2024 11:02 pm Hello Everybody, On the television newscast "Fox & Friends" a viewer called in and asked convicted felon Donald Trump a question - "What's your relationship with God like, and how do you pray?" As most people know, the convicted felon is running for POTUS, and is also famous for hawking bibles (King James Version, with patriotic overtones). "OK, so I think it is good." ~ Donald Trump, answering the question What a way to go. I mean, seriously. Just go to church once, right? Just get the crib notes, right? Wouldn't want to mislead anybody by getting things wrong. Trump did not stop there - "I do very well with the evangelicals. I love the evangelicals. And I have more people saying they pray for me -- I can't even believe it. They are so committed, and they are so believing." What a fool believes. Only others follow the fool. "They sat, 'Sir, you're going to be OK. I pray for you every night.'" I sure wish everybody would pray for me every night. "I mean, everybody, almost --" What does he mean, "almost"? "I can't say everybody, but almost everybody that sees me, they say it." All I see is a sickening shade of orange. And I am not afraid to say it. But hey. Remember the advice given to you by the convicted felon. When somebody asks you what your relationship is with God, do not go "Well, evangelicals vote for me." That will never do. They say 'Sir, we vote for you.' All of them. Without exception. Not sure where in the Sermon on the Mount Jesus said that. But he must have, since the convicted felon said so. This is crazy. Totally beyond parody. And I have not even mentioned Trump's beatitudes, which are also beyond reason or version of sanity. And then the convicted felon remembered where to look, and started reading off a teleprompter - "The great silent majority is rising like never before, and under our leadership, we will pray to God for our strength and for our liberty. We will pray for God, and we will pray with God. We are one movement, one people, one family, and one glorious nation under God." We should change our national motto. Make it In Trump We Trust. And print our currency in orange rather than puke green. For Life, Lee -- GOP thinks banning guns won't elminate guns. GOP thinks banning abortion will elininate abortions. --- MesNews/1.08.05.00-gb * Origin: news://eljaco.se:4119 (2:203/2) .
