I also had to Disable remote-controled terminal resizing, otherwise my terminal would resize to 80 chars wide after closing golded. It could work. It fixed the keyboard problems. But not how golded looks. The line drawing characters are still the 'qqqqqq' kind. It doesn't matter if I use luit or not.
