I haven't looked recently but there were two binkd*.exe files in the archive at one time. They looked the same and they may have had the same length but they were different, they had different dependecies. Tommi Koivula has recent builds that he does himself at 2:221/360. I think they are available there with the magic name binkd. If you haven't already you could give those a try.
