Remember that OS/2 was designed to be very picky about the hardware it supported and it is still that way today. A lot of the "new" drivers are either ported from ALinux, or in the case of NIC drivers, Windows drivers in OS/2 wrappers. I have had very poor results with Broadcom-based NICs. I have an Intel PRO/1000 NIC in the upcoming HP-based BBS system and I've had good results with that. My recommendation is to stick with an older Intel-based chipset for the best success. Of course, experimentation is always an experience with OS/2 these days but AN are trying to get AOS to run on more and more modern equipment. For me, just running a BBS and my fixed income limits me to older hardware but I can usually find equipment cheaply or even for free that does the job. Let us know how it goes for you! Good luck. -- Sean --- ProBoard v2.17 [Reg] * Origin: Outpost BBS * Johnson City, TN (1:18/200) .
