Several emergency services responded to the incident, including the police and Coastguard. "Police were notified a commercial fishing vessel had run aground in The Noises, Hauraki Gulf at around 5.35am. "There are no reports of injury," a police spokesperson said. An Auckland Transport spokesperson said the vessel was heading to Auckland when the incident occurred around 3.42am. "We have not identified any oil spillage. "There are 27 crew on board, and they are all safe. The harbourmaster's team is onsite at the moment and two tugboats are on the way to remove the vessel. This will likely take place at 1.30pm today during high-tide." But the re-floating occurred earlier than expected. The Auckland Transport harbourmaster said at about 11am that "the vessel has been re-floated and is just being assessed for damage".
