Search warrants were carried out on Wednesday morning at seven addresses targeting the alleged supply of methamphetamine by the North Shore chapter of the gang, including its headquarters in Wairau Valley. Detective Inspector Albie Alexander said investigators were supported by tactical staff. "Five men were located across these addresses and were arrested without incident this morning. Several items of interest were seized across all seven addresses, including $80,000 in cash, firearm ammunition and cannabis. Alexander said further arrests cannot be ruled out and that the public will see police carrying out continued disruption and enforcement action. "Unlawful activity being committed by organised criminal groups remains a key focus, especially given the harm it has on communities." Two 18-year-old men, a 25-year-old man, a 29-year-old man and a 57-year-old man are now before the North Shore District Court. --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A44 2020/02/04 (Windows/64) * Origin: S.W.A.T.S BBS Telnet swatsbbs.ddns.net:2323 (63:10/102) .
