One person is in serious condition after a crash involving a pedestrian and a
car in Palmerston North this evening.


Police said they first responded to the incident at 7.15pm on Fitzherbert
Avenue.


St John said it responded at 7.13pm to the incident.


"We responded with one ambulance and transported one person to hospital in
serious condition."
