Police said they were investigating a theft from a commercial vehicle on Christobel Circle in Huntington that occurred between 7pm on Wednesday and 6am on Thursday. "Multiple items were taken from inside the vehicle, including some items that could be potentially dangerous if consumed." Rentokil managing director Paul Cochrane told 1News that Feratox was stolen from a company vehicle. "Our number one concern is public safety and the health risk this poses to the public." Feratox is an encapsulated form of cyanide often used for possum and wallaby control. If inhaled, it can cause a coma with seizures, apnea, and cardiac arrest, with death following in a matter of seconds. The items were "extremely dangerous" and could kill with "just a touch", he said. Cochrane also had a message for whoever took the cyanide tablets: "Please return the items as soon as possible so we can secure them and make sure the public is kept safe." He added that "all relevant authorities" had been advised of the theft. A police spokesperson said they would like to hear from anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of this incident. --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A44 2020/02/04 (Windows/64) * Origin: S.W.A.T.S BBS Telnet swatsbbs.ddns.net:2323 (63:10/102) .
