Here in New Zealand, fish and chip takeaways are all over the place and I
would say it is one of the oldest forms of takeaways that we have, well
before KFC and then McDonalds and all the others F&C have ruled the roost and
still have a strong support base amongst Kiwis..

When we opt for a home version it's oven fries and crumbed fish in the oven
on fan bake. They are tasty enough and less greasy than if we bought them.

It would be fun to compare what you can but from your F&C shops over there.
i.e. other menu items... and what is popular between our countries.
