Guess I didn't look hard enough. You're right. Heck, there's also a release 
candidate after that (2.7.18rc1), but I don't know how reliable it is, since it 
looks like it never got turned into an actual release.

I imagine if they're all deemed fairly stable, you should be safe going with 
whatever version works the best for you.
