LOL, now that gas prices are shooting back up, the market for them could
quickly return.  That last part is interesting.  In the distant past, that
usually meant the car was not meant to have a huge bumper on the front and
back.  Not sure what it means now but there must have been some safety
regulation they were not complying with.

The two people I knew who had Smart cars were both overweight.  In one case,
so was his wife.

They used theirs all the time.  I don't see it being much different that
some of these other small cars that Honda and Toyota have come out with.
The Prius is a little bigger, but there is another electric one that is
pretty dang small.
