We recently bought another golf cart (3rd one in the last ten years) and I've
upgraded it over the past few months (6" lift kit, new wheels/tires,
steering wheel and underbody LED lights).  My wife and I love to ride around
town on it and frequently use it to go to the store and shop. Our town's
police will not bother you unless you're being stupid on it. We don't have
"cart paths" but have abandoned rail lines (rail trails) that have not been
developed that go through the middle of town and allow access to most parts.
The number of carts, side by sides and 4 wheelers keep the paths beat down
and in decent shape.
