Actually, that Lower Decks crossover almost made me not watch the show. 
In fact, I actually waited a whole week and only then because I heard the
episode with the Klingon ambassador was worth watching.  I really hated
that character (the crossover purple haired idiot).  It just didn't seem
like it belonged in a very out of place way.

Then... the musical.

I ended up not watching that one after five minutes.  I eventually
(again, a week later) gave it a chance... but...  It took some alcohol
(and I can't really do that much anymore, so I might be parting ways with
the series).

Ok, in the end, the musical wasn't so bad, and I liked the season
cliffhanger enough... but they better keep these episodes few and far
between.
