Have you tried azuracast?  Its an easy server to setup and many good configure 
options.  Everything I have tried works well with it.  I also know that 
Meatlotion runs a radio station and has had good luck with it aswell.  

I run mine in a VM and it plays old Tracker Tunes.  Mostly just me listening 
but its light and stable
