When I was a kid, my dad used to listen to all those great bands of the 70s and
80s such as Genesis, Pink Floyd and Santana. He used to play those tapes
permanently on his car stereo, taking us kids with him on his weekely shopping
duty. This kind of set up my musical background for many years. I used to
listen to bands like Rush, Marillion and also enjoyed bands like AC/DC, Iron
Maiden. But that was in the early 80s. Today I listen to all styles of music,
including electronic music (but not counting euro-techno and techno).
I'm more into independent or alternative music at the moment. My musical
preferences changed radically after finding out about a band called "The Clash"
when I was 13. :)
