I actually lots of reason, and think Synchronet is a better user experience for
 interacting on echomail.

I can switch between Syncterm and a normal utf8 terminal without
making changes (and the utf8 terminal gives me more screen realestate).

I get an instant message (aka Telegram), whenever there is mail addressed to me
 - and I can use email as well. I've even got email based emailing lists coming
 into synchronet.

And there is active development of Synchronet, which is a winner too. Rob is
very quick at turning around ideas, or helping out with questions.

Previously I was using both MBSE and Mystic, where MBSE was my mail hub. I
didnt like a few things about MBSE, so consolidating onto 1 BBS was/is a plus
too...
