I did the same thing Ratz.. I went with Synchro first and was completely
overwhelmed (I was away from BBS'n for 22 years). I set up a Mystic and found
it simple and had the BBS running and online within an hour. I did put up a
Synchro board later and ran it for about 6 months and was very impressed with
it, I still might toss one back up just to handle gating Newsgroups to my CNet
Amiga and Mystic board.. Just a quick comment to the original poster, you can
get your mail from Mystic on any Mail program, I pull my Mystic mail from
Mystic with my phone. I have mystic setup for at least only me at that moment
as a mail hub. I get all of email I could probably respond but the main reason
I wanted it was because I want to be able to give access to New Users almost
instantaneously so anytime a New User logs on I get a message stating so and if
 they didn't go through the Email callback verifier I can give them access..

It's the little things that make me happy!
