OT, but this gave me a bit of an idea.

I love scummvm-enabled adventure games. Sierra SCI games in particular, but
also LucasArts games.

BBS games tend to be one of three types: Button mash LORD types,
strategy/trader types, and MUDs.

There's a gap in a true semi-guided adventure game. I think MUDs try to do
this but not very well...it would be neat to have something akin to an
Ansi-enabled MUD type game. Something like Leisure Suit Larry. Just make it
multiplayer and dumb the graphics down to ansi.

Anyway just rambling. :P
